Ohio Comic Con

Just wanted to tell people about one of the things I've been working on is the Ohio Comic Con (think San Diego Comic Con but in Columbus Ohio and on it's first year). The event is taking place October 25th & 26th (with a V.I.P. night on Friday October 24th). It will be held in Columbus Ohio (my home) at the Franklin Country Veteran's Memorial.

The folks holding the convention are Jamie and Teresa Colegrove, you can find their contact info on the official Ohio Comic Con website. Any of the film stuff should go through me though so just shoot me an email at justin@temperedzealot.com. I'm also open to answering questions.

Our Guest of Honor is Jason Mewes (Jay of Jay & Silent Bob). We also have Tom Sullivan (Best known for Special FX for the Evil Dead movies), and tons of comic book authors and artists.

Being a comic convention I couldn't think of a better place to post info about it. We're hoping that the 501st will show up and that we'll also have a bunch of Star Wars fans there in costume.

The event is both in honor of Comics and a bit of Horror (mainly comics though) and yours truly will be on a panel about horror and why we love it along with some other very talented and popular guests.

We're also planning on screening some movies both days. Right now we don't have an official list but I'll be happy to update it for everyone as we go.
