First off let me welcome you to the Underground Horror Movie Network. I have been a horror movie buff since I was a young kid. My uncle Alfred, a writer and director for over 30 years, thought my idea of a niche independent network was on the mark. I was involved in the film industry before getting involved in the 24 hour a day world of the internet back in 1996. I sold my first internet company in 1998, and helped form and develop the worlds largest internet sports network in the world. With over 10 years experience in building networks and online communities, I saw a real need and opportunity for UHMN. Earlier this year I joined various online communities and met a ton of people who have horror sites, or their own movies, or are just passionate about the whole horror genre. I said to myself, we need to get all these people together, under one roof, not just selling their wares but interacting in a more focused environment. I myself am now a filmmaker and writer of my own film, so I know that talking with other film makers, and watching their films, help me to become better and more structured. Sure some sites provide a little of this and that, and here and there, but my ultimate goal is to bring everything under one roof, involving all that want to be involved. | Changing the World one film at a time |
