MERCY
was acquired for domestic and international distribution last week by
Unearthed Films. MERCY will be released on DVD in rental and retail
stores by the end of the year. Stephen Biro, President of Unearthed
Films, described MERCY as, “The kind of movie that grabs you by the
pants and won’t let go.” Unearthed will handle international sales
through its partner company Cine Sales.
In other news, MERCY will have its theatrical premiere at the Loft
Cinema in Tucson, starting Friday June 22nd thru Thursday June 28th.
Look for other theaters over the summer.
Also, this week Carol Anne Gayle and Gary Shannon were honored in a
special ceremony at the Lake Charles Tourism and Convention Bureau
where they received their Accolade Awards of Excellence for Production
Design and Lead Actor.
