Welcome to the set of HIDDEN, the premiere effort of newly formed Missouri based Confusion Films. As writer/director Bill Houser puts it, "This is a straight forward eighties style slasher, you pretty much know what you're going to get going in". However, HIDDEN breaks away from what has been the slasher-fare of late with a fair dose of true suspense, and a villain that is far more treacherous than he is indestructible. "Jack (the killer of the film) is very human, and because of that he doesn't take chances. The odds are always in his favor. That's what makes him dangerous, and we hope scary", states Houser. The plot of HIDDEN surrounds the family history of the film's protagonist, Trish Garrett, whose parents were brutally murdered a year earlier. Trish and college roommate, Dawn, agree to enter a wilderness adventure race unaware that the sponsor of the event may well be her parent's killer.
